SCREENING: Invisible Women + Q&A
Sunday 24th Feb, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, 2:30pm, £3 (free tickets available to anyone on a low income)

Back by popular demand after 2 sell-out screenings at SHOUT 2018, this repeat screening will also include an Q&A with 'Invisible Women' Angela and Luchia as they discuss setting up the Gay Liberation Front in the north, rocking with the Northern Women’s Rock Liberation Band to taking on Margaret Thatcher and Section 28.

Angela and Luchia have spent the last half a century fighting for their rights— and yours. They revolutionised the lives of thousands of women and yet no record of them exists. Theirs is a story that risks disappearing from history. Until now —these women have fought and are still fighting today. This is their story told for the first time.

This event will take place in the context of BMAG’s exhibition Women, Power, and Protest.
