As part of this year's SHOUT Out Community Day to commemorate Trans Day of Rememberance Trans entrepreneur, activist, and spoken-word artist Romario Wanliss will be speaking and performing a new piece of spoken word at mac Birmingham.
Romario Wanliss is most known for founding the company ‘PureGender‘ an on-line shop for members of the Transgender community. Romario has been through family rejection, homelessness, depression, bullying and many other adversities in his life. However, now he works to share stories through film, speech and music. He was also featured in BBC 3's documentary 'Transgender: Back to Jamaica'.
