“Are You Worthy?” is a piece written by members of Acting out, which was previously showcased as part of “The War Compendium” in 2016. It concerns the obstacles and challenges faced by two people attempting to achieve asylum seeker status having had to flee their country of origin due to their sexuality.
The workshop led by artists Dyson Ryan Asbury, Bethan Jayne, Andreea Pîslaru, William Shoal & Carmela Vienna will showcase creative ideas and practices that challenge the notion of body, identity and sexuality. The workshops are developed as part of DIGITAL SHOUT OUTS – an online extension of this year festival that allows audiences to participate in our programme without needing to leave the comfort of their own home.
